Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen
Albstadt-Sigmaringen University as a University of Applied Sciences operates in the fields of engineering, economics, computer science and life sciences. Around 3.500 students regularly opt for studies on both campuses. They benefit from modern laboratories and personal support apart from the practical orientation of the studies. Twelve Bachelor degree programmes and eleven Master degree programmes are offered in four faculties.
The Faculty of Life Sciences offers the following Bachelor degree programmes: „Facility Management“, „Food, Nutrition, Hygiene“ and „Pharmaceutical Technology“ as well as the Master degree programmes „Biomedical Sciences“ and „Facility and Process Design“.
Research programmes focuses on medical biotechnology, cell biology, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, microbiology, molecular pharmaceutical engineering, food technology, nutrition physiology as well as ecology.
In order to achieve its goals, the university cultivates a tight network with the business world, linking companies and institutions alike.
