MPS - Medizinische Planungssysteme GmbH from Freiburg develops and distributes therapy and quality management software for error reduction and efficient personnel deployment in chemotherapy. "ChemoCompile" was developed in cooperation with the University Hospital of Freiburg and enables oncological-hematological clinics, medical care centers and medical practices to plan and manage chemotherapy in a high-quality and economical manner.
Developed in accordance with European guidelines, the software enables oncology and haematology facilities to manage therapy efficiently and safely:
- Integration into existing clinic/practice information systems, seamless treatment planning with transfer of patient and administrative data
- Selection of over 600 regularly updated and extended therapy protocols for all relevant entities
- Guided process steps to enable efficient and safe work in both adult therapy and pediatrics
- High therapy quality through automated controls and systematic error reduction
- Context-dependent overviews: Therapy list of an entire ward/department/organizational unit, complete therapies of a patient, patient-specific cycle views, detailed daily views per patient with exact administration times as well as application and emergency notes
- Therapy planner for efficient resource planning, especially for day clinics, outpatient clinics and in private practice
- Digital documentation for fast and uncomplicated recording of application times and individual notes as a further building block for paperless clinics
- In conjunction with commercially available scanners, a closed-loop check of the medication is also possible in order to automatically detect deviations between the medication ordered and the medication delivered, thereby further increasing patient safety
- Complete availability of digital planning and application information enables further processing in subsystems, e.g. tumor documentation, and at the same time supports audits and certification
